Founded in 1872, Patten & Prentice are proudly celebrating 150 years of providing legal services to families and businesses in Inverclyde and beyond.
Based in the west end of Greenock at 2 Ardgowan Square, we offer expertise as standard, and with a blend of youth and experience we offer a quality of service to rival large city centre firms. We have traditional values: we take pride in our attention to detail and build lasting relationships with our loyal client base. We don’t compete on price but never compromise on the service we provide.

In times of conflict, we can assist and guide you through family separation, financial claims, and child welfare issues, while offering sensitive but pragmatic advice.
We also have expertise in advising the business community with long established links to local Housing Associations and organisations and clubs in the leisure sector. Our court department provide commercial debt recovery services and vehicle repossessions throughout Scotland for several UK based companies and specialise in evictions in the Social Housing Sector and landlord/tenant issues in the Private Residential Tenancy market.
